Employment Opportunities

About

Want to work for Arts at Michigan? We've got two great blogs with opportunities for paid student writers! And occasionally we have other positions open too- graphic designers, web designers, program assistants and more! Take a look and see if these opportunities are a good fit for you!

Positions

arts, ink. artists / writers

arts, ink. is a blog that illuminates the Michigan student experience through art. We have a blogging staff of undergraduate U-M students who create weekly artistic content for a student audience. This content could include a wide range of artforms- writing about art, comics, poetry, photo essays, sketchbook excerpts, illustrations, storytelling videos, freestyle rapping, interviews with artists, mini-concerts, artistic video diaries, and more! This has previously been a writing-focused blog, but we're opening the doors, hoping to incorporate a wide variety of student-created arts content— all with the idea of getting readers to discover new things and think about the arts in new ways!

Applications are collected for two annual deadlines: September 20 and January 27. Any applications submitted now will be reviewed around those deadlines.

[art]seen reviewer

[art]seen is a place for students to preview and review arts events on campus, and serves as a forum for discussing them.

Writing for [art]seen gives you a way to go to great events for free, and be paid for sharing your thoughts in our online arts community. Applicants should be undergraduate students with a strong interest in both writing and attending and reviewing arts events!
