The Accolades Awards recognize U-M student organizations for their outstanding achievements in the arts each year, and for their leadership in the University's vibrant arts community. The 2017 Accolades winners were announced this week. Watch this kick off video to find out who the nominees and winner were for Outstanding Achievement by a Student Org in THEATRE!

The University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club wants you to submit lyrics for an original new “Michigan song,” which the members will premier in April 2017 to mark the University’s Bicentennial. Lyricists are invited to submit entries online between Sept. 1st - Nov. 15th. The winner will be announced by Dec. 15th.

EnspiRED is one of Umich's many amazing Student Arts Orgs. Founded in 2006, they highlight the arts and artists on campus through hosting events and workshops. EnspiRED is led by an executive board comprised of dedicated individuals with diverse career aspirations including; Fashion, Music, Theatre, Photography, Film, Business, Law, Public Health, Public Relations, and Medicine. Their new website is beautiful! Check it out here!
If you've ever been curious about Swing Dancing, but never got around to learning how, then Swing Ann Arbor is a great place to start! Their website tells you about all of their classes and events, and includes videos of their performers, classic dances, and further inspiration! You'll be Lindy Hopping in no time!
DB3 is the first official male K-Pop dance crew at the University of Michigan. Their mission is to spread the awareness of Korean culture through dancing and participating in various cultural and dance-oriented events, all while developing relationships and having fun. Outrage Dance Company is a group of well-trained jazz, lyrical, and hip hop dancers who share their passion of dance with each other and on the Michigan campus. Check out some of their performance videos!

FunKtion are an all-male multicultural hip-hop dance team at U of M. Founded in 1999, they dance to entertain, to maintain a tight brotherhood, and to simply spread the joy of dance! Check out this video of funKtion performing at this year's Dance Mix.
HEL[ICON] Literary Journal was released this week, the 100 page magazine that the Helicon , the Art History student org, has been working so hard on for the past few months! Check out the online version here!
Did you know U-M has a Chinese Yoyo/Diabolo Team? Revolution is the Chinese Yoyo team at the University of Michigan; it aims to promote Chinese Yoyo as a performance art form as well as bring awareness to A/PIA culture in general. Check out this recent performance!
