There seems to be a\u00c2\u00a0general, vague impression that puns are a\u00c2\u00a0low and unintelligent type of humor, but I cannot help but disagree with this assessment. \u00c2\u00a0Rather than lending a sense of foolishness to a sentence, a well used pun gives a delightful mental burst of simultaneous complexity and understanding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>Recently, thanks to a friend, I was introduced to the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stumbleupon.com\/su\/1NIYqv\/www.cs.columbia.edu\/sip\/sipit\/funeral.txt\">Pillsbury Doughboy&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0obituary<\/a>. This little work of fiction is a pun filled piece of writing that can&#8217;t help but put a smile on it&#8217;s readers&#8217; faces.
