Their words sit upon these musty shelves,<\/span><\/p>\n

their contents remain unsung<\/span><\/p>\n

We talk and talk and hope one is listening,<\/span><\/p>\n

to know that we exist<\/span><\/p>\n

Like us, these books want to be heard,<\/span><\/p>\n

it is our eyes that they have missed<\/span><\/p>\n

Close your eyes and pick a book,<\/span><\/p>\n

leave your texts unsent<\/span><\/p>\n

The books are celebrating your arrival,<\/span><\/p>\n

they appreciate the time spent<\/span><\/p>\n

Read the book in an open field,<\/span><\/p>\n

where flowers are so merry<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the sun shines upon its spine,<\/span><\/p>\n

where it isn\u2019t a dark library<\/span><\/p>\n
