Presences are unannounced in the dark.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even more so in the fog<\/span><\/p>\n

A blur of beings rushes by<\/span><\/p>\n

Without ever crossing my eye<\/span><\/p>\n

Each step is a careful one<\/span><\/p>\n

Each breath, hesitant<\/span><\/p>\n

For I am subject to the misty blindfold<\/span><\/p>\n

Cloaked\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I embark.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a transition<\/span><\/p>\n

A surge of events passes me by<\/span><\/p>\n

What I could do<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t.<\/span><\/p>\n

What I wanted<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t have.<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t see them\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t see them<\/span><\/p>\n

If only by my volition.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They move in my view for a moment<\/span><\/p>\n

So fleeting<\/span><\/p>\n

They depart\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Without thought<\/span><\/p>\n

Without recognition<\/span><\/p>\n

Without realizing<\/span><\/p>\n

Helpless I am in the fog<\/span><\/p>\n

For I am a proponent.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is a strange relief<\/span><\/p>\n

I am concealed<\/span><\/p>\n

Shrouded in mysterious droplets<\/span><\/p>\n

They cast a hold on me<\/span><\/p>\n

Around my every curve\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am hidden from the world<\/span><\/p>\n

Away from the mind\u2019s conception and belief.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who I am<\/span><\/p>\n

Whom I cherish<\/span><\/p>\n

What I am capable of<\/span><\/p>\n

What ineptitudes I lock away<\/span><\/p>\n

The experiences I carry<\/span><\/p>\n

The soul embedded within<\/span><\/p>\n

A perfect bubble<\/span><\/p>\n

A precious dam.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A thinning<\/span><\/p>\n

A receding<\/span><\/p>\n

A panic<\/span><\/p>\n

A terror<\/span><\/p>\n

A grief<\/span><\/p>\n

A mourning<\/span><\/p>\n

A spinning.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fog withdraws<\/span><\/p>\n

Visions clear<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear resides<\/span><\/p>\n

In the cavity once hidden<\/span><\/p>\n

Now in full display<\/span><\/p>\n

Pleading for a pause.<\/span><\/p>\n

The whole world stares anew<\/span><\/p>\n
