Having depression and anxiety is kind of a <\/span><\/p>\n

Funny thing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Those depressed moods<\/span><\/p>\n

However awful they are<\/span><\/p>\n

Remain comfortable\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Remain separate from the whirlwind of <\/span><\/p>\n

Thought and obsessive <\/span><\/p>\n

Worry<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t fall from the floor<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is no surprise\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No jarring suddenness\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just peace in the low and dull<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a sick cycle<\/span><\/p>\n

That enraptures\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Makes me yearn for the consistency\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That is ruining my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You don\u2019t take chances<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no point<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You don\u2019t try things<\/span><\/p>\n

Why would I?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Are you ever going to start living your life?<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you want the truth?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Maybe a day will come<\/span><\/p>\n

When the anxiety isn\u2019t so grand<\/span><\/p>\n

And the depression seems just a little\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unappealing\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A day where I step out from the centrifuge<\/span><\/p>\n

That whirls and spirals<\/span><\/p>\n

And step into the light<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With a novelty I never knew<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And a take on life\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I had never held in my hands<\/span><\/p>\n

With a world of possibilities\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I had yet to realize<\/span><\/p>\n
