Like her shoes,<\/p>\n<p>her shoes that were stained,<\/p>\n<p>ruined from a soiled world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And her hair. Curled<\/p>\n<p>but not elegantly. More like unkempt, uncared for,<\/p>\n<p>a nest on her head. Displayed, but not proudly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cowering behind her mask,<\/p>\n<p>her appearance in ruins,<\/p>\n<p>but with no name attached.<\/p>\n<p>A person in crisis, no doubt. But who is she?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Beneath coiled knots are worried eyes,<\/p>\n<p>eyes scared to death over lies<\/p>\n<p>told. Doing &#8216;fine&#8217; but less alive<\/p>\n<p>the more she lingers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A mass throbbing in her head,<\/p>\n<p>welling in eyes of stained glass<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A sickening black<\/p>\n<p>exhalations into evening air,<\/p>\n<p>with a feeling of lack<\/p>\n<p>and indifference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A dull exterior,<\/p>\n<p>squirming insides inferior<\/p>\n<p>She was something<\/p>\n<p>made into nothing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eyes of Stained Glass &nbsp; Baggy sweatpants cling to feeble legs stale and stiff needed to be washed days ago. &nbsp; She didn&#8217;t wash them.
