We stole pillows from each other and gasped with each other when the main character found out some secret. The same hour would come the next week, with a new episode for us to share with each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Present<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now my brother and I go to the same college, but of his location, I rarely have any knowledge. Sometimes I\u2019ll text him about a shared show \u2014 the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">only <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shared show because interests hardly ever stay the same \u2014 \u201cHave you seen the new season?\u201d My text is correctly capitalized and punctuated\u2014it&#8217;s thoroughly distant. But he\u2019s only a block away from me, rooming with his friends. He\u2019ll respond hours later because he\u2019s always so busy. \u201cNo, but I\u2019ll watch it tonight,\u201d he says \u2014 because he can. He doesn\u2019t need to watch it at the same hour as me anymore. My plans are to stay. And I wonder how much I\u2019ll ever see him after. Will he call me? Will I be a bother if I call him? How odd would it be if I followed him? It\u2019s all so silly. He\u2019s still just a block away, not yet gone away. I could always just invite him over.
