The moon&#8217;s iron-rich crust causes its rivers to run a ghastly crimson.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h1>Battle of Acheron (EY 2743)<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Battle of Acheron, also known as the Ociys Offensive, was part of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">HIC<\/span>-led campaign of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">second Interstellar Wars<\/span>.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/span> The battle spanned within the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">KHEPRI-3<\/span> system for approximately ten <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Earth days<\/span>,<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/span> ending in a narrow <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Pyrrhic victory<\/span> for the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">KS Alliance<\/span> forces and a catastrophic loss of personnel, supplies, and vehicles for all involved parties.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/span> Most notable was the loss of five <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Horizon starships<\/span>, whose collisions and subsequent cascading failures compromised the shielding of their <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">black hole<\/span>-propelled <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">warp drives<\/span> and led to the creation of a new black hole within the star system.
