As the impromptu victory feast of three afterwards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The one of cackling sailors and bees<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mechanical smiles reflecting my own<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Popcorn boxes and pinball machines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acid-touched stone man, wall of magicians and elephants<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Going together to each of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drums, zombies, and a card with my fortune<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Root beer floats, overflowing or not<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I could get used to it all<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Quiet in the sunlight afterward<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As turkey tails sprout from rotting logs<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And every yard begins to turn blue with flowers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because whether it\u2019s something old or new<\/p>\n\n\n\n
