Gurgling in my stomach<\/span><\/p>\n

making its way up through my chest <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

until its clenched in the back of my throat,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

wanting a new location knowing there’s only one way out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Starting off as a cackle it grows depth <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

it grows deep<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

it becomes as loud as the bell <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

interrupting much-needed sleep,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

it has rhythm, soul, grit. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It escapes with a vengeance<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

searching for its heartless victim,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

yet it will come out long, hard, strong, peaceful. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

It pulsates, strengthens from the inner glow<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

lined with dreams and hope within the core of my body<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

connected like an invisible string. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It will flourish, when I flourish<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Let’s be honest,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

sometimes it takes every inch of every bone <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

in my carelessly contorted body to hear it again.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It tries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Starting from the back of my throat, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

a meek squeak escapes,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

sucked clean of all soul, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

a dry towel looking to quench another’s<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

dying desire for it’s presence. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

My mouth brick ups, I tell myself<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
