There\u2019s something so beautiful about a pure white canvas<\/p>\n

Ready to be filled<\/p>\n

There are thousands of secrets hidden inside<\/p>\n

Ready to be pulled.<\/p>\n

Artists, like miners, use the brush as their tool<\/p>\n

And uncover diamonds in every stroke<\/p>\n

They pull out the secrets when they paint, draw, collage<\/p>\n

And the world\u2019s eyes open, every lady, every bloke.<\/p>\n

They use big bowls<\/p>\n

And dip their hands in deep<\/p>\n

Paint the world with their fingers<\/p>\n

So bright and beautiful as if you\u2019re asleep.<\/p>\n

And in the winter comes Earth\u2019s own little canvas<\/p>\n

A fresh coat of snow, glittering down<\/p>\n

With each little blanket comes billions of chances<\/p>\n

For artists to come<\/p>\n

Work their magic<\/p>\n

Rid the blackness.<\/p>\n

So this winter don\u2019t fret, don\u2019t even worry<\/p>\n

There may not be snow<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just not in a hurry<\/p>\n

It\u2019s coming just later so artists beware<\/p>\n

Soon you\u2019ll have canvases up to your curly nose hair<\/p>\n

So happy Christmas Eve<\/p>\n

And merry Christmas Day<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sorry it\u2019s not a white one<\/p>\n

But don\u2019t fear.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s okay.<\/p>\n

Jolly Old Nick will head down the chimney<\/p>\n

And leave little art gifts<\/p>\n

Full of colorful whimsy<\/p>\n

And maybe you\u2019ll get the best gift of all<\/p>\n

Something new, something white, something beautiful and tall<\/p>\n

Open up your canvas, brand new and white<\/p>\n

Go mine some diamonds<\/p>\n

Fill the world with delight.<\/p>\n
