  • CRLT provides grants up to $10,000 to improve teaching and learning at U of M. The grants competitions are open to eligible members of the Ann Arbor campus of the University only.
  • Community Grantmaking Program is a an online application system that allows Washtenaw County area nonprofits to submit online applications to the local funders. However, many of the organizations represented on Community Grantmaking Program do not require applicants to be a nonprofit. They offer generous grants for organizations that deliver services relating to Basic Needs/Human Services; Health; Education; Economy; Arts & Culture; Neighborhoods & Communities; and Environment in the community.   • Rackham provides funds to improve the climate, character, and quality of graduate education, to fund academic initiatives that enhance the quality and intensity of intellectual exchange and to support faculty travel through a wide range of similar award and funding programs.   • The Ginsberg center offers grants to support community-engaged teaching and research initiatives, centered around community-identified priorities. Grantees will join a Community of Practice to explore and apply best practices for community-engaged scholarship. The list for grants have not yet been posted, but make sure to check back soon for more information.
  • GIEU sends small groups of undergraduates and faculty members to exciting locations in the U.S. and around the world for 3-4 weeks of engaging intercultural academic studies during spring or summer.
  • The LSA- ISS Learning Technologies and Consulting Group provide three grant programs to support LSA faculty instructional technology projects. Grants are open to all instructional staff in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Faculty Project Grants provide up to $15,000 for innovation and exploration.
  • IRWG provides funding for scholarship, research collaborations, or creative activities that focus on women, gender, or sexuality. IRWG offers faculty research support services to assist U-M faculty seeking external funding opportunities.
  • The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) offers support for research, scholarship, and creative activities in all fields. Instructional Faculty, Research Faculty, Research Scientists, Librarians, Curators, and Archivists are eligible. Peer faculty reviews all applications.
