Founded in 1971 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, The Michigan Journal is the daily student newspaper at UM-Dearborn. Any UM-Dearborn student, faculty, or staff member may write for The Michigan Journal and have their work published, digitally and/or physically, in one of five sections: Sports, News, Arts & Entertainment, Student Life, or Opinions. For our student staff writers, we offer free training and onboarding in our editing room!
