Arts at Michigan proudly presents the Accolades Achievement in the Arts Awards! The Accolades Awards were
started in 2014 to recognize U-M student organizations for their outstanding achievements in the arts each
year, and for their leadership in the university's vibrant arts community.
The student-driven artistic community at the University of Michigan is one of the most vibrant in the nation;
there are over two hundred and fifty diverse student arts organizations operating across Michigan's campus.
These groups produce innovative and engaging art across all fields and their presence enriches the culture of
the University. The Accolades Awards were developed by Arts at Michigan to foster the artistic growth of the
student body at the University of Michigan by recognizing the accomplishments of the many extraordinary student
arts groups on campus.
Awards are designed to recognize achievements by student organizations in a wide range of disciplines, including
Theatre, Music, Dance, Comedy and Improv, Visual Arts, Literary publications and more. Nominations are open from
February 15- March 30, and the entire campus will be encouraged to vote for the most deserving groups in each
category online. Then, on Tuesday, April 17th, the last day of classes, we will announce the winners for this
year's Accolades awards through a series of announcements on social media. Winners in each category will receive
$100 for their organization, plus other great prizes. See the list of past winners here!
