The Barony of Cynnabar is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cynnabar hosts several events and demos throughout the year where we re-create the Middle Ages. In addition to these events we also have regular practices where we teach and learn our skills.Regularly scheduled activities include:-Armored Fighting and Fencing practice-During the summer, Archery and melee practices.-Open work days for garb at the Costume Shop at Eastern Michigan University-Dance Practices-Heraldry Nights-Workshops on various topics-Business meetings, where all are welcome to help plan the activities of the BaronyAnyone is welcome to attend any of our demos, practices or events. Loaner weapons, armor, clothing, music and more are available for newcomers!
