GradTONES is a singing group composed of graduate students currently enrolled in the University of Michigan. The latter half of this name is an acronym standing for "Troupe Of Needlessly Educated Singers."
The purpose of the GradTONES is to provide an opportunity for graduate students throughout the University of Michigan to rehearse and perform unaccompanied vocal music from a variety of popular and folk genres, as well as to foster interdepartmental interaction and camaraderie across graduate programs.
