Kappa Phi Lambda

About

Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is a nonprofit, Asian-interest sorority that was founded on March 9, 1995 at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. Seven lovely women, Elizabeth *Wizard* Choi, Karen *Ladybug* Eng, Rei *Energizer* Hirasawa, Hee Cho *Hobbes* Moon, Chae *Huckleberry* Yoo, Samantha *Homer* Somchanhmavong, and Connie *Koolaid* Yang, envisioned a sisterhood that would unite Asian-American women, with emphasis on providing service and sharing their culture to the community. Today, Kappa Phi Lambda continues to expand and represent these values to over 30 schools with over 3,000 sisters!Kappa Phi Lambda at the University of Michigan was established on April 13, 2003 by four amazing ladies who became the charters for Phi Chapter: Abigail *Gravity* Clark, Stefanie *Noelle* Dioso, Ann *Brilliance* Hsueh, and Christine *Sunkist* Ma. These women have worked hard to pave the way for sisters here at Phi Chapter, and we could not have done it without their vision and dedication!
