Arab Affairs League

About

The Arab Affairs League is a forum for discussions and activities relating to the historical, social, political, and artistic life of the diverse Arab culture in the Near East and the diaspora. The League aims to disseminate reliable and accurate information about the histories, cultures, and politics of the Arabic-speaking peoples and their descendants and to prepare the University of Michigan-Dearborn students to serve as outstanding delegates at the Model Arab League. The League espouses progressive dispositions consistent with the aspirations of the region's peoples and the diaspora on core issues. As such, the league advocates for Palestinian statehood, Arab human rights, freedom of expression, Arab unity, and economic and social progress for all Arabs and their descendants.
