Michigan Electronic Music Collective (MEMCO) is a group of DJs, producers, and event-goers that provides a platform for electronic music in the Ann Arbor area. Every month, MEMCO hosts "Impulse parties" at an Ann Arbor venue that feature student DJs and professional guests. Impulse parties provide a safe, inclusive space for attendees to enjoy electronic music and often take on a philanthropic theme. MEMCO also runs ongoing DJ and music production workshops, empowering members to use club-standard equipment and industry-standard software. In these ways, MEMCO maintains its tradition of teaching and learning, building a warm community of DJs, producers, dancers, and friends in the Ann Arbor area.
