The Harmonettes

About

Who are we?Founded in 1979, the Harmonettes have been contributing to the ever-growing University of Michigan A Cappella community with their unique sound and signature blend. A s the firstA Cappella group on campus consisting of women and non-conforming individuals, these passionate musicians pride themselves on their inclusivity, tight-knit friendships, and innovative music. The Harmonettes, compassionately known as the Harmas, strive to create a community of laughter, support, and collaboration. Outside of rehearsals in the Bell Tower, they can be found studying late at the Union, learning music at retreats every semester, immersing themselves in numerous campus activities, and bonding over their love for Andrew Garfield.
