+KHAOS+ EP.17: TRAP

Right when Kira charges for Ingenium, she is ambushed by bullets from within the walls of Ingenium’s room that is designed and programmed to safeguard whoever is present in the room. Although Ed rushes to defend Kira, it was too late, as the bullets struck her.

Fight scenes are always interesting to draw. Also, Ingenium’s room is designed so that nobody can get harmed as long as they’re inside. This means that even if Ingenium tries to harm somebody, the room will automatically aim for Ingenium–just like what happened to Kira.

+KHAOS+ EP.16: FIGHT OR FLIGHT

After his introduction, Ingenium asks Zion, acknowledging Zion’s inherent intelligence, to join Khaos for the sake of a better future for all. Knowing what Khaos has done to Zion, her family, and hometown on Ellea, Kira instantaneously charges on towards Ingenium with her sword ready to strike, unable to restrain her fury. However, Zero quickly steps in between the two, ready to defend Ingenium to the best of his ability while Ingenium remains unfazed.

+KHAOS+ EP.15: CALM BEFORE THE STORM

As the boy began to finish his concise tour of Khaos, he introduces himself as Zero to the group (Milo, Ed, Zion, Kira). At last, Zero finally leads the group to the highest room in the edifice. In the room were countless stacks of books along with a slender, young silver-haired man uninterruptedly reading a book, sitting down in a comfortable but translucent chair. Behind him was a view of the galaxy. Slowly folding his book, the man looks at the four and smiles, saying that he has been waiting for them ever since the beginning, and introduces himself as Ingenium.

I’m back after a week of rest! To prevent confusion on the characters that are introduced so far, there is Milo (the main character), Ed (Milo’s SALV), Zion (Kira’s brother), Kira (Zion’s sister), Zero, and now Ingenium.

+KHAOS+ EP.14: THE SOURCE OF LIFE

The boy near the entrance takes the crew deeper into Khaos, giving them a short tour along the way. Not much is explained along the way but clearly, Khaos has a bigger vision of the future, as the group walks across a massive mechanical heart that seems to supply innumerable amounts of capsules with human-sized robots resting within.

This is one of the rare cases that high school anatomy class that really helped me with an art project. There is a lot going on down at Khaos that still lies as a mystery. 👀

+KHAOS+ EP.12: THE GAP BETWEEN

Milo, Ed, Kira, and Zion decide to team up to discover more about this mysterious corporation named Khaos. After an arduous journey, they arrive at Khaos, which is half above ground and half-buried underground. An eerie atmosphere surrounds the area, creeping everyone out at once.

KHAOS is a term used in Greek Mythology and it means the empty gap between earth and heaven. KHAOS can also mean the “nothingness” at the beginning of time, before the creation of the universe.
