Oh my gosh, Aina – I so enjoyed this. Our family started playing badminton during COVID and it got to the point where we played almost every evening. Sometimes serious, sometimes goofy. Our whole neighborhood came to know us as “the badminton family down on the corner. ” Your poem brought back all the memories. So glad someone else in the world is finding that same joy!
