A short post today: waiting for spring
A short post today: waiting for spring
Today I am giving you pictures I took in Austria a few years ago, but not with my usual DSLR but with an Olympus OM-1, an analog camera that essentially taught me photography. In analogs you only get 36 pictures and there is no automatic mode, which means you do your best to learn different settings and assess light conditions before using one of your 36 chances. These pictures were taken on an expired film which is what created the flares and the funky colors in some of them. I left them unedited to keep the vintage feel.
Sorry for the late post, this week I decided on boats as my main theme – I just like them 🙂
I was looking through my hard drive to find post material for this week and came across the best photoshoot model I have ever worked with. I present to you Mila, who I miss dearly, as she does some snow adventuring 🙂
These are old photos I created around Valentine’s Day. At the time, the first photo reminded me of the sixties or eighties. (I’m still not sure which.) I’ve never been able to recreate the hairstyle, but I’m glad I captured it! I hope you had a fantastic Valentine’s Day full of whatever makes you happy!
Today’s post is going to be short: Here is a piece of home, because I’ve been missing it lately.
